Design: Revolution not evolution

We had the unique opportunity to reinvent the legendary Volkswagen Bus. And we seized it with the ID. Buzz. To bring its iconic design into the age of electric mobility, we have reinterpreted it with the characteristic design DNA of the ID. models. A style-defining feature is the flowing silhouette with its flat and elongated roof line, running from front to rear. Compact proportions and a small turning circle ensure great everyday usability, allowing the ID. Buzz to manoeuvre dynamically through the streets despite its dimensions.

Sustainability: a great idea down to the last detail

The ID. Buzz has been reimagined from the ground up: all-electric. And above all: sustainable – from its net carbon-neutral production and delivery to its use. That's why our certified Volkswagen Naturstrom offering ensures that you can enjoy locally CO2-free driving as soon as you get your vehicle. That's in addition to the extensive use of recycled materials for the seat covers and decorative headlining.

Space concept and technology: freedom reconnected

The powerful ID. Buzz makes room for a whole new use of the space. And some of our most advanced technologies are also at work in the spacious interior of the ID. Buzz. For example, the innovative ID. Light, which communicates visually with the driver. Or over-the-air updates, that allow you to update features and functions. Via Car2X communication, the ID. Buzz can also receive real-time traffic-related information. With over 30 assistance systems the ID.Buzz is taking a big step towards semi-automated driving.

Experience more skies and more space in the new ID. Buzz with long wheelbase. With a 25-cm increase in the wheelbase and body length compared to the ID. Buzz, the longer version offers (ID. Buzz Pro: power consumption in kWh/100 km: combined 22.0–20.6; CO₂ emission in g/km: combined 0. Fuel consumption and emission values are only available for the vehicle according to the WLTP, not under the NEDC. Electric panoramic sunroof with smart glass

Bring more light to your life: The optional electric panoramic sunroof with smart glass in the new ID. Buzz with long wheelbase ensures a light-filled interior and a generous view to the outside. And because it is a multi-layer sunroof with switchable liquid crystal film, it switches to privacy mode with light and heat protection via a slider in the roof console at will. So you have exactly the level of light or darkness you want – and no longer have to worry about UV and infrared protection. There is also three centimeters more headroom on top. The new ID. Buzz with long wheelbase not only brings more outside to the inside, but also noticeably enhances the feeling of space.

Space for up to seven people with the third row of seats

Longer, more flexible, more spacious: The new ID. Buzz with long wheelbase has the space you need. And the flexibility you want. With the additional optional third row of seats with LATCH and Top Tether, the ID Buzz with long wheelbase can accommodate six or seven people depending on configuration. The two seats in the third row can be adjusted longitudinally, and can be removed quickly and easily if necessary – good if you want to carry a little more from A to B. Up to 2,123 liters of load space in the ID. Buzz Pro and 2,469 liters in the ID. Buzz with long wheelbase can be achieved in just a few simple steps.

New battery, longer range

Is longer, can go for longer: Thanks to the new standard 86-kWh (net capacity) lithium-ion high-voltage battery, the ID Buzz with long wheelbase can achieve a range of up to 474 kilometerswithout recharging. The highly efficient heat pump, which heats the interior, also helps. It uses less energy from the high-voltage battery, which represents another range advantage over electric vehicles without a heat pump. Thanks to the new lithium-ion high-voltage battery, the new ID Buzz with long wheelbase just keeps going. It is also faster (top speed 160 km/h) and has a torque of 550 Nm. More acceleration and more force when pulling loads up to 1,000 kg – this is where the new ID Buzz with long wheelbase also sets new standards at Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles.
